Welcome to MR SCIENCE Laboratory Ph.D. graduate student Kay Igwe, the newest member of the in vivo magnetic resonance spectroscopy team.
Kay Igwe is a doctoral student who has rich experience in computational neuroimaging research, with a focus on creating algorithms for the detection of Alzheimer's Disease (AD) biomarkers in neuroimaging. In addition, Kay has also worked and conducted research in the areas of software automation, analog and digital hardware design, software development, nano- and microfabrication, neural recording devices, and amplifier design. Her most recent first-authored publication, designing and presenting an automated tool for unsupervised segmentation of white-matter hyperintensities on brain MR images, can be found here.
