Undergraduate Leonardo Campos Gives Talk on Magna Cum Laude Abstract at ISMRM Annual Meeting

July 01, 2022

Congratulations to Mr. Leonardo Campos, whose Magna Cum Laude award-winning abstract with MR SCIENCE Laboratory member Dr. Kelley Swanberg, along with alumni Dr. Martin Gajdošík and Dr. Karl Landheer, was selected for presentation at the 2022 Joint Annual Meeting ISMRM-ESMRMB in London, United Kingdom on 7-12 May 2022.

The work, awarded a Magna Cum Laude designation as among the top 15% of submitted abstracts this year and entitled "Complex fitting of 1H-MR spectra improves quantification precision independent of SNR and noise correlation," describes recent efforts to empirically assess the accuracy and precision of conducting 1H-MR spectral quantification, particularly of data from the brain, in the complex versus strictly real domains.
