MRI technology; MR physics and system calibrations; field simulation and B0 shimming; MR imaging and spectroscopy; biomedical engineering; physiological models and MR clinical applications

Biography

Yun Shang has worked in MRI system development for six years, and he is very experienced in MR system architecture, system integration and calibrations. In addition, he has explored various research on the passive shimming of magnets in 1.5T systems, including field simulation, optimization algorithm and data analysis. During his Masters program, he delved into the control system design of an integrated MR spectrometer and figured out the realtime control logic based on Linux to ensure fast response and synchronization of the RF, gradient and receive signals. Yun Shang joined the MR-SCIENCE laboratory in 2017, and he currently investigates multi-coil development and dynamic shimming techniques on the human body to enable better clinical solutions.
