Biography

Jonah Majumder is a doctoral student working on RF coil design and RF integration with multi-coil B0 shimming systems. Jonah graduated from Yale in 2017, majoring in physics and conducting research on RF delivery for atomic laser cooling. After graduation, he joined a group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory developing ultra-sensitive atomic magnetometers. He now seeks to apply his experience in experimental physics to challenges in MRI.

Jonah is also a member of the MD/PhD program at Columbia and plans to pursue clinical practice in addition to research. He is interested in radiology, cardiology, and psychiatry.
