Research Interests
magnetic resonance spectroscopy
Biography
Dr. Karl Landheer obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physics from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. He then completed his PhD in the department of Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto, where he worked on a variety of novel magnetic resonance spectroscopic sequences, including topics such as parallel imaging, relaxometry, diffusion and 2D-spectroscopy. Karl joined Dr. Christoph Juchem’s lab in 2017 as a Postdoctoral Associate. His current interests are the development and application of novel magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy techniques as they pertain to pathologies of the brain, in particular gliomas.
