Biography
Isabelle Zinghini is a doctoral student with a background in physics, mechanical design engineering, product design, and product testing. After graduating from Northwestern University with degrees in Physics and Chinese Language and Culture, she worked as a Design Engineer at a nonprofit developing and testing high-capacity cargo bikes for sub-Saharan Africa and South America. Isabelle joined the MR SCIENCE laboratory in 2022 to work on MRI hardware and multi-coil shimming. She believes in the potential for good design to promote equity in healthcare and beyond, and aims to bring this ethos to her doctoral research.
